Fabric Shopping Formal Head Dress Making

Today we went shopping for fabric for more Nigerian outfits. Eileen found a beautiful piece I found two one white and one blue. Tomorrow we go to Gidan Bege to be measured and have our outfits built. The head dress is crafted from a single piece of beautiful paper made just for the purpose. These head dresses are traditionally worn to very special occasions like weddings. The creation took about ten minutes to make.
Eileen and I prepared supper for John's family while Corrie was coaching track at Hillcrest School where Sarah, Gus and Sami go to school. Chicken, Noodles and gravy with fresh green beans.
