St Patrick's Day in Alamo Palms

Eileen and I drove and rode in the St Patrick's Day Parade in our RV Mobile Home Park. We had our toes done up special for the event, had a hug for the oldest resident in our park Vet will celebrate her 100th birthday in the next week. She rode on the back of a Gold Wing three wheeler. The rest of the parade included walkers, Shriners, bike riders just like when we were kids doing a neighborhood parade with our playmates!

We're Home, Safe, Sound and Jet Lagged!

We arrived home late Thursday night exhausted from 40 hours of traveling without a bed to sleep in and yet energized by our experience in Nigeria. This morning we're off to church where I'll preach and Eileen will play. We'll celebrate Holy Communion and wear our new Nigerian outfits. The video is a brief clip of the choir in the Kissayhip Village Church.

Cooking, Canning and Packing for Home

Our grands and Imade crazy crust pizza for supper. I "taught" Linda, Emily Munifo's house helper how to can pizza/spaghetti sauce and Eileen got started on our packing for the 36 hour trip home. Today I actually saw a working traffic light red and green only, no yellow. And then there are the vehicles carrying matresses!
This will be opur last post until we get home. Thanks for joing us on our adventures.
